How much tea should be used?
A rule of thumb is to use 1-2 teaspoons per 8 ounce cup. You can then add more to achieve a brisk taste

Temperature of Water
This is important when preparing a great cup of tea. The water should be ‍heated (in glass, ceramic, or clay teapot) until it's boiling and then left to cool for a bit before brewing the tea.

Be sure not to move the leaves around too much or it may cause the tea to
become more bitter. One should not steep tea for too long before serving it,
thus it is recommended that the leaves are steeped for 2-3 mins. Afterwards
it can be steeped longer if it is desired in order to reach the brewer's tastes.
